My home is now in Jonesboro, AR but I was born and raised in the Midwest- specifically, Valparaiso, IN - home of Orville Redenbacher and his popcorn. Like Orville, I attended Purdue University in Lafayette, IN. I majored in Aeronautical Engineering, Landscape Architecture, Graphic Arts ( Purdue calls it Visual Communication Design or VCD- I think that sounds way too much like a communicable disease of some sort), and finally, Fine Arts.
A husband and kids soon followed college and my art career was put on the back burner for some time. My husband was transferred from his job in Illinois to Memphis, TN and now to Jonesboro, Arkansas! My kids grew older and I began to throw elaborate birthday parties with cardboard castles and intricate pinatas. Then, some good friends of mine convinced me to try to sell my creations.
So now, I offer some really creative and artistic-looking pinatas. I can make just about anything from paper and glue. Just send me an e-mail and tell me what you want. Would you like to have a likeness of someone so you can provide yourself with some cheap anger management? Maybe your little one is having a birthday soon? Any theme - anything you want! I mostly do custom work, but take a look at my past pinatas and sculptures for inspiration.
